Remove the drip tray and place a set of scales under the pouring spout. Place your coffee cup (or an espresso cup if you have one) onto the scales and set to zero.

Put one pod into the brew chamber. Press and hold the ‘espresso’ or ‘short’ button, depending on your machine. Do not let go.

Continue to hold the button until you have filled your cup with 25g of coffee. Note: you may find it best to let go just before you reach 25g as the coffee will continue to pour though for a moment.

Voila! Your machine has now been reprogrammed and will now pour 25g of coffee the next time you use the ‘espresso’ or ‘short’ button.

Finally, eject the pod from the brew chamber by opening and closing the lid. Then press the ‘espresso’ or ‘short’ button one more time to allow the water to run through and clean your machine.
