Who is Chris Hoy?
A self-proclaimed coffee lover, Sir Chris Hoy worked closely with us to bring this signature blend to life. Beyond being a sporting legend, Chris is a creative collaborator and friend of the brand. He helped fine-tune every roast note to reflect his personal tastes - rich, bold, and smooth. Plus, The Hoy is the ultimate flat white base, inspired by Chris’s go-to morning brew.
What is The Christie Charity?

Use a V60 (aka Ashley Palmer-Watts' favourite bit of kit!) for a clean, clear brew that highlights the nuanced chocolate and fruit notes.
How to Brew The Hoy
Whether you choose our whole bean or ground formats, The Hoy delivers a rich, expressive experience in every cup.
How to Brew with The Hoy Whole Bean:
1. Grind fresh for maximum flavour.
2. Use a medium-fine grind for espresso machines, AeroPress, or pour-over.
3. Ideal for flat whites, Americanos or filter coffee, bringing out those molasses and chocolate notes with clarity.
How to Brew with The Hoy Ground:

1. Pre-ground for filter methods like cafetières, drip machines, or V60.
2. Use approximately 15–18g of coffee per 250ml of water.
3. Drink black, or add milk, depending on your mood or moment.
